We believe raising animals the way God intended. We use heritage breed animals not only for their flavor but also their ability to thrive in natural conditions. We use both Large Black Hogs and Berkshires for their ability to pasture and for the quality of their meat.
We started raising hogs and chickens to help improve the food supply for our family. Our first son, Andrew, was struggling with his health due to food allergies. The more research we did on our conventional food supply the shocked we were. We made a goal to supply our family with as much food as possible raised ourselves. From there, family and friends started requesting more of the food we were raising. We realized that many people had come to the same realization that we had. Our current food system is broken. It is being rebuilt slowly by small producers that value quality, not quantity.
