We are dedicated to supplying Specialty Meats from the State of Michigan with the Core Standards of Ethical and Honest Representation, and incorporating a set of Strict Standards to Humanely Raise Safe, Sustainable, Natural, Local and Healthy Meat. We are an organization dedicated to the production, promotion and positive marketing of Michigan Specialty Meats through the use of ethical practices and honest representation. We have full- and part-time farmers, striving to raise the best possible meat goat with hands-on care and experience. Many of our members raise cattle, hogs, crops and have recently added goats to their operation to diversify their production base. Goat meat is enjoyed globally by many different cultures, and is a common staple in countries outside the United States. We'd like to share its benefits with an American audience. �We breed our own Animals. �They come from Disease Free Herds as Certified & Identified by the State of Michigan and are Routinely Monitored by Licensed Veterinarians. �This is the Food we Raise for our own Families. Goats have never been confined to feedlots at any time. They are pasture raised, promoting normal animal behavior and allowing goats to do what goats do naturally. They are handled by people who follow and believe in humane standards.
