A little to the south of Olympia WA, nestled amidst the towering Douglas Fir trees to the west and a vast wetland to the east lies a little family run farm, Mimir's Grove. A rare breed of beautiful, black, sheep graze through the pastures and among the apple trees while chickens follow behind them scratching and pecking all manner of worms, bugs, grubs, and other tasty bits. A serene livestock guardian dog lies atop a small rise overseeing it all, bursting into action only when a threat to the livestock is perceived. Mimir's Grove employs practices long established in regenerative agriculture; particular attention taken to support the myriad delicate beneficial relationships among a variety of organisms, wild and domestic alike.
Here, at Mimir's Grove, we delight in growing some of the best tasting, most nutrient dense lamb, poultry, and eggs possible and in enough quantity to be able to share with our local community all the while building soil and improving the environment to which we are all a part. 100% grass fed, naturally grown, integrated pest management, wildlife and predator friendly ranching practices. We invite you to visit the farm and see for yourself where and how your food is grown; take a dozen, or two, eggs home with you and make sure you reserve your future lamb and chicken now.
