The Times Are Changing. We're Not. Manchester-Farms was founded in 1797 by Isaac Manchester. Today it's owned by Isaac's Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Granddaughter, Margie, and is one of the best-preserved farms in America. In many ways, we still do things the way Isaac did. We don't use pesticides. All our cattle are 100% hormone-free, antibiotic-free, and certified organic. And like Isaac, we produce U.S.D.A Certified Organic Beef, 100% Berkshire Pork and dairy products of the highest possible quality and freshness. We believe in caring for our animals and working with Mother Nature. Our cows are in the pastures day and night and we believe that keeping them outdoors helps them to stay healthy. They dine on the most beautiful pastures filled with delicious knee-deep alfalfa, clover and sweet grasses. When the weather gets nasty our girls move under our loafing shed that looks like a giant pavilion. There is a roof over their heads with no walls to restrict them or the airflow. We believe organic is the way of the future, just like it was in the past! Times have changed a lot since Isaac's day, but Manchester-Farms has't!

Mancester-Farms meat is USDA Certified Organic and Pennsylvania Certified Organic. Our pork is certified Berkshire by the American Berkshire Association. We sell our beef by the quarter, approximately 80 lbs. and our pork by the half hog, approximately 80 lbs.
