Meat CSA enrollement is open at any time, subject to availability, and shareholder benefits are for a calandar year begining at that point. Member then has a full calandar year to use their subscription fee for product and cuts of their choice. Specific meats and poultry raised on the farm, and in what quantities, is determined by the shareholders. The non-profit structure of the C.S.A. permits shareholders to get superior organic product at operational costs.. Although no farm work is required of shareholders, some may volunteer to serve on the board of directors while others may choose to do organizational and administrative tasks as their particular skills and interests dictate. All such work is done in the members home at their timing, usually via the telephone or internet. The vegetable/fruit CSA has three time frames for membership and is priced accordingly. Members can belong for only the time during summer that they will be at home, for two periods, or all three. Consult our website for details or call (724) 349-2507.
