Naturally produced, raw, unprocessed honey. All we do is remove the wax. Our honey and our honey products are local to Cape Girardeau County from a wild variety of plant sources and floral types. We mostly sell bottled, fluid honey, but more and more, we offer comb honey, chunk honey, whipped flavored honey.
While not certified organic, we follow most of the criteria to produce honey without chemical miticides, antibiotics, pesticides, artificial heat or high-pressure filtration.
(I'll bet you didn't know most beekeepers use those things, did you?)
We have varietal honeys. Varietal honeys are from selected distinctive locations with a unique floral source and segregated to retain their respective flavors.
We have honey from the strawberry fields of Mid-America Teen Challenge. We have honey from the blueberry flelds of Iller's Blueberry Farm at Millersville. We have a light honey from Oak Ridge that is largely clover and alfalfa and a dark honey from sorghum fields. If you catch me at a farmers' market, free samples are always offered.
