We are a small family farm that is raising excellent meats & vegetables for ourselves and some to share with others who appreciate it. Our desire is to be good stewards of the portion of earth we are responsible for. We do this by raising our beef, pork, and poultry on pasture and rotating them as needed to regenerate the life in the soil. We use mulch and wood chips on our garden, no tilling.
We are steadily learning and improving our practices to work with nature's regenerative functions, massaging them to their productive potential without damage or destruction. Our aim is to farm as good or better than the nationally recognized best practices. Our beef is grass-fed and grass-finished. The heritage breed pork is pastured with free-choice soy-free, non-GMO feed. Poultry is pastured with soy-free, non-GMO, wheat-free feed.

Worried about cattle and climate change? It depends upon how the grazing is managed. In fact, there is increasing evidence that grazing cattle can contribute to storage of CO2 in soil humus. See the TED Talk by Allan Savory and Soil Carbon Cowboys online!

UPDATE 8/25/21
We have 1 Mangalitsa pig being raise for sale. When it sells, this notice will change.
Have you heard of Mangalitsa pork Mangalitsa pigs are Hungarian lard pigs, known for two things: their thick, curly coats, and their gourmet, heavily-marbled, deep red pork. All of our hogs spend their lives outdoors, rooting and foraging, and eating the best non-GMO, corn/soy/wheat-free feed. Our pigs have a happy life with green pastures and a pond to cool off. This heritage breed is slow-growing, and thus, more expensive to raise than more common hybrid breeds. But the juicy, flavorful pork they provide is well worth the wait!

Purchasing a pig and having it processed is an economical way to treat yourselves to gourmet, responsibly-raised pork.

Only (1/2) pig available!
7.00/lb. hanging weight
(Expected hanging weight is be 250 for a whole, 125 for a half)
Once we receive your down payment, we'll have you contact the butcher and customize your cuts.

Going to processor on Sept 3rd. We'll send you a link to for you to specify your cuts once we receive payment.
Average cut/wrap fees are about $150. If you want to process your own pork, it can hang in the processor's cooler for a couple days then you can pick it up.
