At MONDJACK APIARIES our honeybees have been gathering nectar from the local wild flowers in the Lehigh Valley since 1980 and since that time they've been turning it into the most delicious Wild Flower Honey you can imagine. It is because of the freedom given to our honeybees to gather nectar from the plants of their choice that our honey varies slightly in color and flavor throughout the season, from light in color (that of Locust trees, Clover, Alfalfa & Bush Honeysuckle) to light amber & amber in color, (from Linden & Tulip Poplar trees) all embody a natural delicate flavor that will delight your taste buds! The utmost care is taken in keeping our bees and harvesting our honey. Our honey is never heated above the temperature that is attained in the beehive. We are a "Home-based" business, open year-round by appointment. Our honey is available in sizes ranging from 8 oz. jars to 5 gal. buckets. We have bulk beeswax, Honey available in 8 oz., 12 oz., 1 lb., 2 lb., 5 lb. and 5 Gal. (60 lb.) buckets, Comb Honey, "Honey candy" in 6 flavors and "honeystix" in 20 flavors, all available wholesale & retail. For those of you with alergies to local plants, ALL of our honey is considered raw, as it is not pasteurized or micron filtered. Many people are reading on the 'internet' that only crystallized honey is raw. This is absolutely not true. Most all honeys will crystallized if stored in cool temps. Honey bee colonies rentals are also available for pollination service.
