Longview Farms

Longview Farms is a family farm in Havana, Florida built on the premise that healthy foods come from healthy soils. With that in mind we have chosen to feed the soil with only natural, organic inputs and we use the interrelationship between animals and plants to build fertility in the soil and resilience in the animals. We raise cows, chickens, and pigs on pasture; and we rotate the cows and chickens regularly to add natural fertilizer to the soil while insuring the animals are eating the most nutritious grasses and legumes. We also raise seasonal vegetables in raised beds. We sell directly to our customers through our mailing list, website, and Facebook page. We also have regular open houses on the farm when customers can visit the farm and buy directly from the farm store, and we sell through the Red Hills Online Market (www.rhomarket.com) each week. Our products include fresh eggs from our pastured chickens, whole broiler chickens raised on pasture, grass-fed beef, fresh vegetables and herbs, and various breads and pesto. Additionally, we provide farm services including mulching, stumping, roller chopping, disc harrowing, and brush mowing. We are happy to give free estimates for land clearing or restoration projects in the North Florida/South Georgia area. If you are interested in bringing a school or camp group to visit the farm, we host field trips regularly and can provide activities and curriculum from many developmental levels.
