Willow Moon Farm

Our farm, circa 1800s, is located on the Winooski River in Plainfield, Vermont. While once the home of dairy cows, it is now the home of Willow Moon Farm Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. We are a small, organically managed dairy farm, raising Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats for show and dairy. We also sell farmstead goat cheese,farm fresh eggs, honey and goats milk soap in our small farm store. Our farm is organically managed where the health and welfare of our land and animals are a priority at all times. Our goats and chickens are pasture fed with lots of fresh air and green grass. Nigerian Dwarf Goats are wonderful, small goats that make terrific family dairy goats as well as pets. We have developed our herd from the best Nigerian's available and we are very proud of our success. Our babies are combination dam and bottle fed for very friendly, healthy kids and our "dairy girls" are beautiful and productive. Our milk is delicious and one customer described its flavor as "liquid vanilla ice cream". Nigerians are a miniature goat breed but don't let that fool you...these are little dairy powerhouses with excellent butter fat and protein. We are currently producing chevre, in several savory and sweet flavors, traditional style feta and aged raw milk cheeses. We also sell goats milk soap and seasonal honey from our farm.
