Our goal is a minimum of 8 up to 12 varieties a week. We harvest in the mornings of pickup days for pickup from white baskets at the pavilion. Each basket will have your first name on it, our method of knowing who picks up and communicating specifics on day of pickup.
Generally in the spring and fall you will receive leaf vegetables like lettuce, broccoli, spinach, kale, Swiss chard, cabbage, pak choi, arugula, mustard, etc. and root crops like radishes, beets, carrots, onions, garlic, etc. foods that grow in our region at these specific seasons.
Summer crops which do spill over into spring and fall are tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash, zucchini, fennel, kohlrabi, peppers, leeks, garlic, beans, peas, okra, and etc. foods that grow in our region at that specific season. We do not grow corn, melons or winter squash because of how much space it takes to grow them.
