Brokenpoint farm grows a variety of produce and fruits. We are not certified organic but follow organic practice. We use only organic fertilizers and ORMI pest treatments. We market on farm, at the Clarksville downtown farmers market on summer Saturdays, and directly to local restaurants. We also offer produce subscriptions from April-October. Produce varies by season and includes, but is not limited to, greens, beets, carrots, potatoes, onions, sweet corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, okra, sweet potatoes, a variety of beans, a variety of melons, squash, etc. Our current fruit crops are strawberries and raspberries, but we are expanding into blueberries, apples, pears, plums, and cherries. We also grow a variety of herbs such as garlic, basil, rosemary, oregano, thyme, dill, and fennel. Harvest begins with asparagus in April and picks up throughout the summer. We typically harvest fall brassicas and root crops until at least Halloween and often much later. Young children love to spend some time down on the farm picking their own vegetables and berries!
