MycoLogical Natural Products / Terra Dolce

Local Food Business
MycoLogical is a CCOF certified organic facility. We are also a food safe facility certified by SCS Global for Good Manufacturing Practices. We have extensive knowledge about wild and organic foods that we put to use in screening, grading and sorting fresh, dried and frozen wild and organic mushrooms, chili peppers, berries and many other products to make them safe and a quality value for our customers. We supply small natural food stores across the country as well as major chains, directly and through our distributors. From shiitake to porcini, from chipotle to Birds-eye chili, from blackcap raspberries to gooseberries, we like unique, we like quality. Established in 1995, part of the MycoLogical mission has always been to increase awareness of the symbiotic relationship between wild fungi, healthy forest ecosystems, and their mutual sustainability. Since then our mission has broadened to include even more wild species, as well as certified organic cultivated foods under the Terra Dolce brand. Most of our wild products are harvested from the biologically rich temperate forests of the Cascadia bioregion. We are proud to play a role in encouraging sustainable wildcrafting by the scores of dedicated foragers who gather the 30+ wild culinary seasonal mushrooms like chanterelles, as well as other wild foods such as seabeans, miner's lettuce, huckleberries and many other special and sustainably harvested wild foods. Their efforts have contributed to our regions worldwide reputation as a favored source for edible gourmet wild mushrooms and other foods. Our cultivated products, such as organically farmed mushrooms and chili peppers, come from small organic farms in our own backyard, the Willamette Valley, as well as from organic farms in neighboring regions that meet the rigorous certification requirements for our organic products. We are proud to play a role in supporting small organic farms. We work with dozens of farmers to get great products and help support their mission to provide the world with healthy products grown organically through ecological and culturally smart farming systems.
