Napa Food Cooperative

While we hope to some day soon become a traditional co-op, we are at the present a small group of food activists and growers. Part of our mission is to supply useful technical information regarding food, and at the same time trying to form social connections and community cohesion around food and health issues. Once community members have become sufficiently educated to take on hands on projects we also hope to be a nexus where individuals or groups can post their accomplishments and thoughts on their projects. In this way Napa Food Cooperative hopes to be more a hub to share information and to meet others than it is a central authority or even umbrella group. Some of our founding members are permacultralists. While we are interested in presenting permacultural principles and practices to the community, we do so in a suggestive manner and in balance with the interests of growing a community movement in generaL.
