Nebraska City Farmer's Market

The 2008 expanded Nebraska City Farmer's Market runs from May 29-September 11. Location is in the Memorial Building parking lot for better shade. Hours are 3:45-6:30 every Thursday. New vendors are always welcome. Please call for an application. Fee per individual day is just $10 while the entire season is olny $80. The following vendor items are welcomed: jams, jellies, eggs, meats, locally grown produce, baked goods(not cream filled), desserts and pies, cider and juices. All Nebraska State food handling policies are required and scales must be inspected. We are also accepting harvest or garden themed artwork vendors(jurried). Call Chris Gress for more information at (402) 873-7962. The event is joined by the downtown merchants who have banded together to keep their stores open unitl 7:00pm on Thursdays. Stores have music, snacks and store specials that change weekly. Live music is planned for the downtown area during the late afternoon and early evening hours.
