You can feel good about eating chicken, pork and eggs from our farm. All our chickens eat organic feed, and we make certain they get plenty of greens, running around outside. Our laying hens are certified Animal Welfare Approved, the highest animal welfare certification available. Our hogs eat grass, hay veggie scraps, and transitional organic grain. We offer 2 breeds of chicken: the standard meat breed and a slower growing breed called the Freedom Ranger, which is firmer and more flavorful. We are at 2 farmers markets in Minneapolis: Fulton every week and Midtown every other week. You can also get a 10 percent discount on whole chickens when when you come to our farm in the Northfield area. Check with us before you come. We are 45 min. south of Minneapolis.
