Newhouse Farms

Thank you for your interest in our poultry, naturally raised on our four-generation family farm in Boone County, Illinois. When we say natural, we mean our animals grow healthy and strong naturally, with lots of fresh air, sun shine, open spaces, and daily foraging. They are never given antibiotics, growth hormones, or steroids. All of our chickens and turkeys are raised completely cage-free on organically managed, rotated pasture, with fresh clover, alfalfa, grasses, insects, sprouts, seeds and more. For the appropriate ratios of protein and other nutrients, we order our own custom feed mix, carefully sourced with local grains and freshly ground for us at a local feed mill. Finally, the birds are all processed at a nearby, family-owned, USDA-inspected and approved facility. We currently sell frozen turkeys and chickens, stored in our -14 degree here on the farm.
