We are a small farm located on the banks of Nicks Creek in Chatham County, NC. I grew up on this farm owned by my grandparents. After spending many years on the coast of NC as a boat captain, now retired, my wife and I returned to this farm to fulfill a desire I have had for a long time, that is, truck farming. We started this adventure in 2007. Of course 2007 had to be one of the worst draught seasons on record. Even so, we managed to produce some wonderful crops even though the yeild wasn't what it should have been. We have not been discouraged and plan to plant again this year (2008). As a result of our first year we made many new friends selling our produce at local farmer's markets and from people visiting our farm. We offer our apologizes for the inconvenience of those who have called inquiring about our pumpkins. This year, again, the draught got us and we don't have pumpkins to offer. Thank all of you for your continued support and we ask that you call us again next year which will be the 2012 season. Aside from the vegetables we grow, for those who are interested in arts and crafts, we offer one of a kind, hand turned wooden bowls made from fallen trees on our farm.

2008 Gourds of every size and shape now ready for purchase, Call us, thanks.

If you are looking for unusual gifts, I spend the winter months in my woodworking shop turning beautiful wooden bowls from fallen trees on our property. Some of the different woods are walnut, poplar, wild cherry, pecan, maple and others. They range in size from 8" dia. to 20" dia. and most are a rustic style such as natural edge (bark left on) or slightly warped and with knot holes. You must see to appreciate.
