Organic fed and pasture raised Boer Goats, Lamb and chickens. We are a small farmstead but have extra eggs, chicken, lamb and chevon meat.
Chevon and Lamb - 12.99 to 16.99/lb, eggs - $5.00 doz., chicken various sizes and prices. I also use a bit of bio-dynamic as well as permaculture practices. Nutrition-wise, goat meat is a wonder. A similarly sized serving has a third fewer calories than beef, a quarter fewer than chicken and much less fat: up to two-thirds less than a similar portion of pork and lamb; less than half as much as chicken.
