We are a small family farm that raises beef from conception to consumption. So we only butcher and sell a few select animals per year. We focus on giving each animal a name, a story, and a comfortable healthy life. Our herd is a mixed herd with momma cows that are mostly Hereford or Angus. We use AI usually for our sires and prefer to use Akashi (Red Wagyu). We feed on pasture year round if weather permits, provide grass all year, and only feed grain if requested for a specific animal.
Antibiotics and Immunizations are given to our mommas whenever prudent, and only give to other animals if necessary to maintain healthy and comfortable lives, however, when sold we do mark if they have had any.
