Old Coyote Cafe

Our farm-to-table, taco concept uses ingredients such as non-GMO, grass-fed brisket; Oaxaca smoked queso; beef chorizo; nopales; and farm-fresh eggs. Everything down to the salt and pepper is organic, and we do not use seed oils. If we don't grow it ourselves, it is locally sourced—including the longhorn cattle which is from a ranch across the street, right here in Cedar Creek. Daily drink options include freshly pressed juices and aguas frescas using elements from our garden, in addition to organic coffees and teas. On Fridays through Sundays, we will offer organic beer and wine options, as well as birria and barbacoa empanadas, which can be enjoyed while listening to live music on our outdoor stage. We want to put on full display the taste difference and distinction of real food grown on-site, healthy food, quality food, food that will bring you back, time and time again.

The legend of Old Coyote Cafe is tied to a mysterious coyote often spotted near the cafe, carrying a coral snake in its mouth. Locals began to tell stories of how the same old coyote appeared at key moments, guiding the founders of the cafe through challenges, as if it symbolized wisdom and resilience. The coyote became a sort of guardian spirit, representing the connection between nature, sustenance, and survival. Inspired by these sightings, the cafe embraced its name, honoring both the old coyote and the land’s wild roots. Every bite is the real deal-all organic, non-GMO, fresh ingredients you can actually pronounce-sourced straight from our farm and neighboring markets.
