Each week, we aim for a selection of 6-10 items that are palatable and interesting. We mix in a few rare heirloom varieties with plenty of the staples you?re used to. For example, during tomato or cucumber season, you can expect these juicy gems every week, but eggplant will be offered only here and there. Carrots are offered as often as every couple weeks, and beets or swiss chard, will be rotated in less often throughout the season. The quantity is roughly enough for 2 vegetarians, or a family of 4 omnivores. Over the years we have learned that people have very different eating habits; If you eat out a lot, or use vegetables only as a side dish, you might find that you need to split the share with someone.
