Ophidian Farms

Ophidian Farms is a not-for-profit teaching, sustainable forest farm and homestead in Southern Indiana that uses organic growing methods, heirloom seeds, and that raises heritage breed farm animals. Our goal is to help preserve the species of plants and breeds of animals that we have chosen to work with. Ophidian Farms utilizes permaculture methods as well as forest farming in order to develop and maintain a system with minimal outside inputs which is self-sufficient and sustainable. We are a human-scale farm! All of our animals are raised and treated with respect and with dignity, and are cared for with their physical, mental, and emotional health as a priority. All animals are raised from birth on a non-GMO, and whenever possible, organic diet. Our mission is to teach others how to live a life in Nature, self-sufficient, and close to Spirit.
