Opportunity Knocks Farm

Our happy hens eat non-GMO and organic feed from Modesto Milling. Since they spend the day enjoying their yard, they also eat plenty of weeds and bugs. Each evening we shut them in their hen palace to protect them from predators. Our hens lays their eggs with shells of brown, white, and green. The yolks are a beautiful dark orange color. The breeds of hens in our yard includes Rhode Island Reds, Plymouth Rock, New Hampshire Reds, Australorps, and Brown Leg Horns. Children are always welcome. Farm tours are also available. Eggs are $7 a dozen and only available at our farm in Ramona which is easily accessible from Route 78. We are about 3 miles from the intersections of Routes 78 and 67. We are open most days.
