Bee Friends Farm – Local Jacksonville Beekeepers & Florida Honey
Bee Friends Farm is a local, full-time beekeeping operation and Florida-licensed honey packer based in Jacksonville, Florida. We are migratory beekeepers, meaning we move our bees seasonally to follow Florida’s best nectar flows. Our bees travel throughout the state, collecting nectar from peak blooms to produce exceptional, single-source Florida honey.
We bottle a wide range of raw Florida honey varietals, including:
- Jacksonville Wildflower (hyper-local)
- Black Mangrove
- Tupelo (from White Tupelo trees)
- Saw Palmetto
- Orange Blossom
During peak season, we manage up to 600 healthy honey bee colonies, always prioritizing bee health, sustainability, and quality honey production.
Hyper-Local Honey for Jacksonville
We believe the best honey for allergy season is local honey from your neighborhood beekeeper. Our Jacksonville Wildflower honey is harvested within the I-295 beltway, making it truly hyper-local. This honey reflects the diverse wildflower nectar found right here in Northeast Florida.
Single-Source Florida Honey Varietals
Each honey varietal is named after the primary plant source from which the nectar is gathered. For example, our Orange Blossom honey comes from bees placed directly in Florida citrus groves. Because bees typically forage within a three-mile radius, dense plantings allow us to produce honey that is predominantly from one floral source.
We also conduct pollen testing to verify varietal authenticity, alongside decades of hands-on beekeeping experience. Each honey has a unique flavor profile, much like a fingerprint.

Creamed Honey
Our creamed honey starts with Jacksonville Wildflower honey that is carefully crystallized to create a smooth, spreadable texture. We then infuse it with flavors such as:
- Cinnamon
- Lemon
- Mexican Vanilla
- Chocolate
There is no added sugar or dairy, only pure honey with organic spices and extracts.
How to use creamed honey:
Use it just like liquid honey. Stir it into coffee or tea, spread it on toast, add it to oatmeal, smoothies, or use it as a natural icing.
Honey Facts
How long does honey last? Forever. Honey does not spoil when stored properly.
Crystallized honey? That’s a sign of purity. Simply warm the glass jar gently in hot water to return it to liquid form while preserving its raw qualities.
Beeswax Products
Pure beeswax is a natural product of the hive and varies in color from pale white to golden yellow and warm tan. Our 100% beeswax candles burn clean, last longer than conventional candles, and highlight the natural beauty of beeswax.
