River Bend Farm

River Bend Farm, in Peapack, NJ offers All Natural Pasture Raised Angus Beef, All Natural Berkshire Pork, and All Natural Pastured Chicken and Eggs. Our 70 cows give birth in the spring or fall, after which the calves will spend the next 18-20 months rotationally grazing our 200 acres of lush green grass and clover pastures. They are never confined to a feedlot. They receive a small amount of grain while on pasture to achieve the desirable amount of marbling and tenderness, and in the winter we feed them our home-grown grass hay. Our animals are raised humanely, without antibiotics or hormones. The Pastured Laying Hens follow the cows around the pastures in their mobile hen house. Our Pastured Chickens, sold under the "GLADSTONE VALLEY" brand, are raised in a "Chicken Tractor" type coop that is moved to fresh grass every day.
