Our Local Farm isn't just about us. Customers, neighbors, friends, family, business associates, the animals, the land, we are all connected. We strive to unite people and heal the land with healthy responsibly grown food.
In addition to being fed off pasture, our chickens (broilers and layers), turkeys and pigs are fed non-GMO grain that is grown, processed, and sold in North Carolina. That translates into less fossil fuel usage, local businesses being supported, animals raised as humanely as possible, and food that is nutrient dense.
Our cows are grass-fed and grass finished. They get no grain to fatten them up quickly.
We practice regenerative farming techniques that create soil and add nutrients to the earth instead of depleting those resources.
Our Local Farm is open for visitors via farm tours, sales, and educational classes. Please visit our website to learn more. It thrills us to educate people about their food and to get to know those in our community.
