Walnut Hill was once home to a self sufficient farmstead that operated over a century ago. After decades of abandonment, the O'Connor family is re-establishing those roots. The property is mostly dense timber and many wild edibles are encouraged to thrive. Wild mushrooms, gooseberries, raspberries, blackberries, walnuts, and other delicious favorites are plentiful.
Only half an acre is cleared for cultivation, but is sufficient for many varieties of vegetables, fruits, grains, and herbs.
There are current plans to construct an outdoor kitchen and lounge area to allow visitors to enjoy good company, life, and fruits of labor.
We will be updating our description to include a detailed list of what we have to offer.
