Joy of Organics Produce Buying Club
Welcome to "Joy's Organics Buying Club." We are a "Buying Club." We are not a store or a CSA. This is a labor of love, our goal is to offer a wide variety of beautiful, fresh, certified organic produce at a value to all. We have various pick up locations throughout Orlando and are actively looking for hosts and members. Call to find a location near you 954-465-6502, or see our website www.joyoforganics.com
You will receive a package of nine veggies and five fruits (usually between 20 and 30 LBS of produce). Pick up is every other Tuesday between 4 PM and 8 PM. .
We always have leafy greens (such as spinach, kale, collards, rapine, a lettuce of some sort such as butter, green leaf, romaine, or red leaf, a root veggie (such as potato, sweet potato, rutabaga, beets) something from the onion family and some staples like carrots, bananas and the like. Everything comes right from the farm with no shelf time. We always get what is in season. Unlike what you get in the store, this will last.
Some of our local farms are:
Biofarm Organic Poultry and Eggs Uncle Matts
Fresh Results Bryson Farms
Alderman Farms Witt Road Organics
L & M Farms C & B Farm
Lady Moon Organic Country Farm
White Rabbit Organic Valley
Dave's L & M Rawls
Clear Spring Farms
The cost of the share is $49.95, (29.95 Half Share). You would pay double that minimally in the store. Recipes on a regular basis as well as emails including what will be in the pick up and reminding members of the pick up dates. There is no commitment as to staying with the group. Anytime you decide to leave (although I don't know why you would :) just resign with a two week notice. Please go to our website at www.joyoforganics.com or give me a call.

Why a Buying Club???

WHY A BUYING CLUB ??? We are a BUYING CLUB, we are not a CSA, (which requires large advanced payments in order to sustain the farm). We are not Amazon.com, (where you can order whatever you want whenever you want it), and we are not Whole Foods, (where you pay extremely high prices for produce that has been sitting around a lot longer)....
