Hi there! My name is Pam Bell, owner of Pacific Meadows Alpacas, a small farm in the foothills of the Oregon Coast range near Junction City.
I have been an alpaca breeder for 11 years, raising huacaya alpacas throughout the color spectrum. I started with 4 young females and two males, producing some of the softest fibers for yarn creations.
I learned to felt hats, balls, blankets, scarves and then taught myself knitting, spinning and dyeing fleeces.
In all my years, I had grown the alpacas to a herd of 50 alpacas, had the time of my life with a huge photo library of my experience, but after a shattered leg and cougar problems, I reduced the farm down to a smaller amount. I now concentrate specifically on fiber dyeing, spinning the fleeces into yarns, knitting products and traveling to all sorts of fiber and yarn events to talk and sell my products.
Thank you for taking a look at my creations! Email me with any questions, special requests, including colorway requests! I am always creating something new and am more than happy to work on a color combination you have in mind!
