Winner of over a dozen gold medals at local, national, and international honey competitions, Monterey Gold Honey is a family-run business and the labor of love of Paul & Larissa Del Piero. Together they continue a family legacy of farming and ranching in Monterey County that spans over 5 generations. In a few short years, we've gone from 2 hives on a hill to winning gold medals in nearly every major honey competition on the West Coast. We're particularly proud that Monterey Gold Honey was named a finalist in the International Black Jar Honey Competition - the most prestigious blind-taste-tested competition of its kind. Our honey is all produced in small batches from sustainable apiaries in Monterey County. Our bees are free to fly wherever they please - gathering pollen and nectar from the best flowers and plants.
