Ken Kuhns Jr and his wife Gail, own and operate Peach Valley CSA Farm, located 17 miles west of Glenwood Springs in the Colorado River Valley. They helped establish the Saturday Farmers Market in Glenwood Springs in 1985. For the last 20 years, they have operated their Community Supported Agriculture program, growing vegetable, fruit, greens, and egg shares for 100 + families through 40 weeks of the year. Their soil building program includes green manures, tillage, cold composting, rotations, animal manures, and fallowing, using organic and biodynamic methods.
