People's Provisions

Our mission is to grow food, prepare food, and share food with our local community, while intentionally bringing people together to create space for connections, intimate moments, and growth. There is not one farmer who can feed us all, and there is not one person who can make this world a better, more just, more sustainable place - it takes all of us.

We have created an all-local Grocery Store in Elliottsburg, PA bringing the best seasonal & sustainable produce from the Farmers of Perry County to a community-centered specialty food shop. Our Goal is to pay our farmers equitably & make food more accessible to all people, therefore building a stronger food system together.

Visit us in store for our entire inventory of organically grown produce, farmstead cheeses, pastured meats & eggs, fresh baked goods, pantry items & a seasonal selection of the highest quality local foods, and make sure to pre-order our items requiring prep time, like our locally-curated cheeseboards from our Online Farm Stand.

When you check out at the register, we will ask you “is the price alright with you today?”. You can pay whatever price works for you. If you need to pay less, please pay whatever price works for you, you still deserve this food. If you can pay more, your contributions pay towards the grocery bills for the community members who pay less.
