Perry Farmers Market encourages us to eat local, eat better. It also has the feel of a festival, with music and artists. I love to go on Sat mornings to chat with town folks and just watch people as they stroll through an greet each other. The awesome corner bookstore is an added bonus.

I live in Portland OR, (Food Heaven) but grew up in Perry. The Perry Farmer's Market brings a taste of Food Heaven to my little home town. The baked goods are fantastic, the farmers delightful and the produce delicious.... [more]

We have the best market around! Well planned, excellent location, live music, a good (if small) mix of local producers, always building. Many coordinated events, too, like a chalk art festival and bike tour.
