Sierra Chef Farmers Market @ Lampe Park

Our "Big Bag Giveaway" continues! Each week this incredible bag is chock full of fresh fruits, vegetables, home & personal products, eggs, meat, bakery items, flowers, garden supplies and other fabulous items provided by our vendors. It is given away at the end of each market - there is no cost to enter to win, just come to the market - one entry per week, per person please. "The Story Book Lady" will be leading our children's story hour from 10:30 - 11:30. ASL / American Sign Language will also be incorporated within a number of the stories. Our "BORROW A BLANKET" program allows you to shop, grab a bite to eat and enjoy the beauty of Lampe Park. Pickup a blanket at the Sierra Chef booth - no charge, just please return it when you are done! We welcome back such local organizations as Carson Valley Community Food Closet and their Empty Bowl Program a great activity for the kids having fun while helping others. Other charitable organizations will alternate throughout the season. Returning vendors include Sagebrush Soap, Bently Ranch Beef, Bakery Gallery, Dwelley Farms, Rodriguez Brothers Ranch, Whiskers and Paws, Princess House, Wildtree, Bella Vita Catering, Rockin' Chicken Ranch, and Rolling Thunder to name a few. Breakfast, lunch and snack options will also be available - shop a little-nosh-a-little. Cooking demonstrations from Sierra Chef and others will feature the fresh bounty of the day. Scavenger shopping will also occur throughout the summer - shop in the morning and have a Sierra Chef cooking class in the afternoon / evening.
