Poorman Family Farms, LLC

We are a small 5-acre family farm that is focused on pasture raised poultry, chicken, and eggs. All our egg laying chickens are free ranged during the day and secured in a mobile coop at night. Our pasture raised chickens are Cornish Cross breed of chicken and secured in a Suscovich style chicken tractor.

All of our chickens are fed locally milled fed to keep as much money as we can in the local economy. While one day we hope of be able to use organic grain to provide organic eggs and meat to our customers, we are not at the size and scale to do so affordably. Right now we feel it is more important to offer to our customers clean and humanely raised food thats fed with locally milled conventional feed so that our farm can grow slowly.
