Formerly known as Dan, Pop Pop got his name from his grandchildren as they were trying to pronounce Grandpa, and the name has stuck around ever since. When he's not tending to his garlic, working on the machinery/vehicles on the farm, you can bet the farm he'll be curling at the Arlington Curling Club.
Pop Pop is no stranger to the hard work of what it takes to be a successful Midwest farmer. Farming has been a part of the family for over 200 years, since his Great Great "Pa Pa" immigrated to the Beautiful state of Wisconsin. His Mother Alvina was known to get up at 4 in the morning to milk cows when she was only 5 years old!
