We are a small family farm in rural southern Virginia. We raise heritage hogs on pasture with a rotating system that keeps them healthy and happy. This rare breed of hogs actually graze on pasture grasses and root only a small amount. Our hogs have access to pasture and woods at all times and are supplemented with non-GMO grain. We also raise pastured broilers and turkeys in bottomless pens that we move every day. They are fed non-GMO grain and when they reach butcher weight are processed humanely right here on our farm. All of our animals enjoy fresh air and sunshine and are free of antibiotics and hormones. You can either order in bulk and pick up your meat directly from our farm or visit our booth at the Halifax Farmers Market. Our chicken is also for sale at the Blue Ribbon Market in Halifax. For more information visit our website or send us an email and we would be happy to answer your questions. Like us on Facebook to get regular updates. We have just begun an all natural soy candle side business on our farm. Visit our website to follow the link to our Etsy shop. Each candle burns completely clean and for approximately 30 hours.
