Prairie Grove Farm TX

We are a first generation family farm in North East Texas, in the small community of Merit. We run a farrow-to-finish heritage pasture pig operation, grow fresh produce, and manage bee hives.

?Our focus is on improving the land through regenerative farming, and providing quality food for our community.

Our seasonal produce is grown without the use of harmful pesticides or herbicides. We use organic, natural pest control when necessary. Produce is available in the early summer and fall at our roadside farm stand.

Pork will be available starting in November 2023. All of our pigs were farrowed on our property, out on pasture. Our hogs are raised naturally in dense trees and pasture, and rotated regularly. We supplement them with feed purchased locally from our Farmer's co-op.
