Prescott's Patch CSA has been serving Lancaster, York, Dauphin and Cumberland counties since 2001. We are proud to be a single farm CSA. This means that we can tell members exactly how their food is grown. Our philosophy/mission is to grow chemical-free, nutrient dense, and delicious food in the most environmentally friendly manner possible. Our farming decisions are based on what will have the least impact on the environment.
We grow strawberries, raspberries (red, black and gold), blueberries, blackberries and a wide variety of vegetables for inclusion in our weekly shares. We grow many heirloom varieties. We also choose varieties based on flavor. During the typical season a share will provide the weekly vegetable needs for four or more people. We do have a reputation for generous shares.
Members have access to a cut your own flower patch.
If members desire extra strawberries, they have access (in most years) to our u-pick patch at a reduced price.
We also offer a limited number of full working shares. Ask for details.
The season runs from late May - October (20 weeks). We also offer a fall share that runs from October - December (11 weeks).
