Prevost Family Farms

We are a small four acre farm with big dreams. We are located between Manning and Sumter South Carolina. We are just starting out and we are modeling after the great Joel Salatin. We are practicing rotational grazing systems for the Chickens turkeys and cows. Everything for now is small scale and ready to expand once we move to more acrage. We started homesteading in 2013. We wanted a safe and self sustaining place to raise our children and grow our family. We wanted to know what we were eating and where it was coming from. Also wanting to teach the next generation all about how we get our food. We wanted a natural model that complimented the way nature worked and how God intended it to be. With that said we started Prevost Family Farms. We wanted to share our products with the local community. For now we have started with pasture raised chicken. In the spring of 2018 we are going to be adding pasture raised turkey and eggs. A note on our feed. Presently we are using a Feed locally grown and milled from Manning. Unfortunately at this time it is not organic or non gmo. We are also presently trying to find a source of non gmo and organic corn for the spring of 2018. We will update as soon as we find a guaranteed source. We never use antibiotics or added hormones. We holistically raise our animals. We plan on added year after year to our product list.
