The Pri HaEmek- Bounty of the Valley CSA is a project of Temple Beth-El in Poughkeepsie, but is open to the entire Dutchess County community. The CSA partners with Lineage Farm in Copake, New York. The distribution of fresh vegetables grown with organic practices takes place at Temple Beth-El on Grand Avenue every Thursday from 4-6:30pm. Distribution is from June for 20 weeks. Members receive the fresh vegetables harvested that week. Pri HaEmek is volunteer run by its members. The goal of the CSA is to provide its members with vegetables grown with organic practices, help sustain local farming and to uphold the Jewish values of concern for the environment and granting charity shares to families in the community. In addition, the CSA delivers weekly leftovers to the Lunch Box.

Pri HaEmek - Bounty of the Valley is a not-for-profit CSA that is about more than buying local, sustainably grown produce that tastes great. It is also about community in the Mid-Hudson Valley and supporting local farmers. The CSA is grounded in Jewish values concerning the environment, but is open to eveyone. Being concerned about community, each year our CSA will grant some charity shares provided through the membership as well as giving the leftovers to the Dutchess Outreach Lunch Box
