CSA: Ready Jam Farms

Our CSA will run for 18 weeks, from June thru October.

We now offer a "Market Share" for those who pick up at one of the Farmers Markets we attend during the season. Brookfield, Riverside, Bloomingdale, IL

We have 3 shares sizes this season: Small Share will be 1/4 bushel for a family of 2 Medium share will be 1/2 bushel for a family of 4 Large share will be 1 bushel for a family of 6 Members will receive Ultra fresh, organically grown vegetables.

We Currently have locations to pick up for veggies in Marengo, Elgin,South Elgin, Pingree Grove, Elmhurst, Huntley, Crystal Lake. Looking for locations in Rockford, Rolling Meadows, Mt Prospect or anywhere we have people wanting a drop site with enough people to sustain a stop. Contact us if your interested in our CSA.

Organically grown means we are true organic, we don't use any type of chemicals on our produce. For those who are looking for truly pure food, look no more. Other farms that say they use other practices use chemicals. If the bugs come they will spray with everthing they have available to ensure they can bring the crop to harvest. We believe in strong healthy soil, which in turn makes strong healthy plants that can fight pests and disease.

We recommend Farm pick-up as the best option, your veggies will be at the peak of freshness, staying in our cooler until u arrive. We understand that is not always an option, along with our current pick-up locations we can create a pick up locaiton anywhere, as long as we have a willing host and acceptable location, and at least 10 Medium to Large shares going to that location.

For those that simply can not make the pick up times and days, we will offer home delivery of your share. There will be a weekly charge for this service TBD by the distance from the farm.

We are looking for new drop locations, think you have a good location, do you have friends, family, and neighbors that would be interested in a share if it were easy for them to get? Let us know if your interested, and willing to host a drop point and help fill the spots. To have a drop location we need to have at least 10 meduim to large shares going each week. We have found that friends like to work with each other , and sites fill quickly once they are known about. Host sites will receive $50.00 off their share
