Red Feather Farm

We are a small, family owned and operated farm located in Spencer, VA, just outside of Martinsville. We currently have a small mixed flock of laying hens, including Buff Orpingtons, Wyandottes, Australorps, Brahmas, Rhode Island Reds and Barred Rocks. Our ladies have daily access to pasture and are fed an organic, non-GMO, soy free feed. The eggs are delicious! We also raise a meat bird called Naked Neck or Turkens. These birds are on fresh pasture daily and also receive the organic, non-GMO, soy-free feed. They are available frozen, vaccuum-sealed and available to purchase year round. Call or email to schedule delivery or pick-up. Our latest adventure was in raising heritage breed turkeys, Bourbon Reds. These beautiful turkeys were so much fun to raise. They also receive the organic, non-GMO, soy-free feed. They are available by pre-order only and pick up is here at the farm the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Our passion is raising healthy, tasty food for our children and for our community. Our animals are well cared for and we are happy to show you around our farm.
