The Rusk County Farmers Market is a year-round market that offers a variety of produce, meats, cheese, eggs, canned goods, jams/jellies, honey, maple syrup, and baked goods. Fresh flowers as well as creative and unique local arts and crafts are also sold. Each market features a different educational theme with community partners and a kid's area with fun activities. FMNP and SNAP/EBT accepted.
June 19-21 is Flambeauland Farm Fun Weekend. Friday night kicks off with Farm-to-Table Cookout and Barn Dance at the Fairgrounds. Saturday morning is the Rusk County Dairy Breakfast and Opening Day of the outdoor farmers market season. The market will have free ice cream and yogurt parfaits to celebrate June Dairy Month. There will also be a free flower arranging workshop and beekeeping demonstration. At noon, hop on a bus for a tour of three area farms. In between activities, stop at the Historical Society (fairgrounds) for Log Cabin Days. End the day with Feast on the Farm at Baers Den Farm.
Outdoor market is held Saturdays, 8:30-noon and Wednesdays, noon-4:00, June 20-October 10.
