This eclectic collection of potatoes and other interesting plants helps secure the agricultural heritage of the future. This project also helps bring fresh local produce to a food desert area of Cleveland and functions as an educational opportunity for urban residents with little exposure to agriculture. Organic farming practices help with carbon sequestration in the form of mulching, improve soil, and conserve water by converting formerly impervious substrate of grass into agricultural land.
