It gives local growers the chance to sell their harvest and it gives the community a chance to meet the people growing their food,

It's conveniently located, but need a lot of support from the community to grow. Kudos to the few vendors showing every week. They also wish to see more people coming to buy their products.

It's close to home - I wish more other vendors would come - such as
at Pioneer Park in downtown Salt Lake.

I've been going to this farmers market for the last 3 years and each year it gets smaller and smaller. Many weekends, there is only 2 vendors. It makes me sad, but apparently the community support isn't there.

You are right - that is very sad. I just moved here from Oregon and we have some wonderful farmers markets there. I would love to support a good farmers market. I hear there is one in Draper where I live - I will have to find out about it. I will let you know once I know where it is. I am going to Oregon for three weeks next week.
