Organic, local farmers, nurseries, bakeries, craftspersons and products with amazing food for our souls. Beautiful location on the Inlet and a place to eat and soak up positive energy. Good for our carbon footprint when we attend church in Olympia most Sundays. Parking available. Great choices in fruit, veggies and plants.

Love supporting my local farmers. Some of them I see not onlyl at the market but at church. Their constant drive to make our community a better place is amazing. Supporting my local market gives other local farmers a chance to "share" their goods as well.

It is one of the nicest farmers' markets I have ever visited. They have a permanent structure built to support all the local farmers, craftspeople, and bakers. It's one of the thing sI enjoy when visiting WA. And my brother and his wife run an organic farm and have a booth there! They have delicious veggies! My brother and his wife are organic farmer

Besides being a wonderful source of fresh fruits, veggies, plants, and local arts and crafts, our market is a wonderful community gathering place. People take time to visit, eat along the food walk, listen to local musicans play on the stage, discuss politics. It is Democracy in action; like the Forum in Rome ! Plus it promotes healthy eating !

Our farmer's market supports many of the small farms in the region which my husband and I wholly approve. The veggies and fruit are out of this world and they offer fresh fish and shellfish. The music, the food vendors, and the crafters make this weekly trip in from our small town a great experience.

Olympia Farmers' Market is not only full of locally sourced, many organic growers and producers but it is located a short walk from Budd Inlet on the Puget Sound with its breathtaking views of our State Capital campus, Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Mountains. In addition there is an amazing array of crafters who make functional and beautiful items for the home and for gifts. It's the first place I go for gift buying.

It's beautiful. It's near my house and I can ride my bike there. I always see friends. Most of the time, there's some kind of entertainment. The prepared food is great! I enjoy having a relationship with the people from whom I buy produce. Shall I go on? Plenty of free samples without the accompanied huckstering, a la Costco, Albertson's, etc. Great quality foods and crafts. Did I mention how beautiful the place is?

It's a wonderful four day market with local produce & plants. The vendors there are knowledgeable and helpful. They always have a smile & welcome questions about their products and the area. The local Master Gardeners have a garden and booth there for people to peruse and ask questions. With lots of local food & music, there is always a festive atmosphere there. My grandchildren love to go there, especially for snow cones. My husband loves to go there for the pepperoni and I love to look at the plants & produce. All in all, it is the best Farmer's Market that I have been to.

The Olympia Farmer's Market has something for everyone, wonderful organic produce, hand made chocolates, bakery goods, local gifts, flowers, plant starts, music, food vendors and a beautiful Master Gardener demonstration garden with picnic tables - a perfect place to have lunch. There is also a Master Gardener clinic at the market which helps hundreds of homeowners each year diagnose and solve their gardening problems. It is one of the best places in Olympia to meet with friends or spend an afternoon.

The wide diversity of vendors . . . all 'on the same page' . . . quality and value. Moreover, the people themselves are genial and sincere. The crowd that the market draws is, of itself, a compliment to the community that we share. One feels comfortable and entertained, as well as 'nourished' by the experience.

The Oly Farmers Market brings more life and business to the downtown community and to the local growers and artisans that have the opportunity to sell their products there. It is located on the waterfront and features local live music and a good atmosphere. I would love to see this market grow, and in these hard economic times, it, like many local, community-based spaces, like parks, are being shorted or closed. Keep the farmers market alive!
