Our valley grows so many diverse foods for export out of the valley and the country, but the smaller farmers need local support, especially those who are starting organic farms. This local farmers market give them visibility and the shoppers excellent fresh produce and lovely handcrafted soaps, breads, lotions, candles and art.

Friendly vendors with wonderful fare! Our area has an abundance of fruit and vegetables and it is so wonderful to be able to see it all displayed and interact with the growers. We also have a great variety of people who make incredible food, heavenly lotions, incredibly scented candles and the most unique garden furniture from trees. Yakima really does have it all!

Love the fresh fruits and veggies. Love to spend the afternoon in down town Yakima on a warm sunny day!!

Because it is FUN, the veggies and fruits are wonderful, and it is nice to see the community playing and finding wonderful food. I wish it could be everyday of the week!

It is very pleasant to shop at Yakima Farmer's Market on a glorious, sunny day. I enjoy eating fresh vegetables and fruits from our Valley, especially those organically grown. I also love the array of plants and fresh bouquets to beautify my home and garden.

It's the best place to find the freshest produce and it's nice to know it supports the local farmers.
