The Blacksburg Farmer's Market not only provides us with high quality local food and products, it also has an important social function as a great meeting place for friends and family in the community. It is one of the best things about living here!

The Downtown Blacksburg Farmers Market has the best veggies, fruits, meats, diary products, hand crafted items and music -hands down! And we have the friendliest farmers around!

I love seeing the people there every week, and I love the passion that the "farmers" have for their product. We have great growers plus craftspeople making things like cheeses, bread, woodcrafts, etc.

Last summer I did a fruit share with the farmers market. Every Saturday for the entire summer I had a bag of fresh local seasonal fruit waiting for me. It was so delicious!

They have a wonderful variety of organic food,meat,cheeses,baked goods,plants,woodworking,jewelry and other locally produced products. I live near the market and enjoy walking there to shop.

the food is great and I know it's been produced with no pesticides or chemicals and I can connect with the people who grow my food.
